This lot has the meaning of "身先士卒" (身先士卒). It encourages the person concerned to dedicate himself/herself without self-sacrifice. In today's society, where interactions between people are becoming more and more indifferent, and fraud cases are becoming more and more frequent, many people seek self-preservation and hesitate to lend a helping hand. Others, however, do everything they can to help, without regard for profit or loss, and even less for themselves. Many of these people volunteer their services, and they are the living bodhisattvas of the human world. Even if their personal power is limited, if they wish to do something, if they turn their passive thoughts into active ones and turn them into positive actions, and if they do not worry about whether or not they will be rewarded for their efforts, they will surely feel a true pleasure that is hard to describe.
