Fortune No.33
Poem (The Oracle's Verse)
石藏美玉在中心,得指何須向外尋,直待高人來剖析,恰如靈雨滌煩襟
The beautiful jewel is stored in the center of the stone. If we have already received such a sign, why should we ask outside? If we wait for a high person to come and dissect it, it will be as if a rainstorm is washing away the troublesome collar of our hearts.

Interpretation (Meaning of the Oracle)
珍玉內藏,不須求覓,若遇貴人,事又得吉。此籤珍玉內藏之象,凡事忍耐守舊則吉。
This lot is an elephant with a rare gem stored within, and all things will be patiently done to obtain good fortune. This is not a good time for scheming. No matter how good the opportunity may seem, if you do it, it will be overturned and nothing will come of it. Why should you go out to seek for it when you already have the jade in the stone? In other words, if you keep your eyes on the present, there will come a time when you will be able to develop your own schemes. You should not move. It is better to be quiet than to move. In other words, the rare gem is stored within, and there is no need to search for it everywhere. Wait until you meet a nobleman, and you will be blessed with good fortune.

Explanation
[Summary] Let go of the ruts of the past. Separate public and private affairs, and treat each other with a forgiving heart, and your relationships will be smoother.
This lot means "就事論事. It indicates to the parties concerned that they should take action without weighing the previous rancor. In human relationships, it is inevitable that conflict and discomfort will arise from time to time. However, there is no need to hold on to them in our minds and memories until after time has passed and circumstances have changed. We should not be prejudiced, but rather, we should set aside our own preconceived notions, discuss matters in context, and separate public and private matters. Be as tolerant and considerate as possible of others' shortcomings. The more tolerant you are, the more open your heart will be.
