Fortune No.16
Poem (The Oracle's Verse)
攢眉思慮暫時開,咫尺雲開見日來,宛似污泥中片玉,良工一舉出塵埃
After a while, the mind that had been frowning and brooding opens up. Just a stone's throw away, the clouds clear and the sun comes out. It is as if a piece of jade buried in the sludge, once dug up by a good craftsman, leaves the dust.
Story (Historical Background)

Interpretation (Meaning of the Oracle)
得處無偽,損中有益,順逆吉凶,君子得吉。此籤如玉在泥之象,凡事遇貴則吉。
This lot is an elephant of jade in the sludge. If you get a good jade, and once the time comes for you to reach out and organize things and lead them to fulfillment, you will leave the sludge and obtain good fortune. In other words, your time and fortune are just about to arrive, just as the sun will appear as soon as the clouds are dispelled. In other words, the lottery is a place where "where there is no lie in gain, where there is gain in loss, and where the sovereign gains good fortune regardless of whether the situation is favorable or unfavorable.

Explanation
[Summary] Advice is painful to hear, but take it as true. We should have a grateful heart and accept the advice with open arms.
This lot means "Chugoku Gyakuji" (meaning "to say the opposite of what one has been told"). In other words, it indicates to the parties involved that they should not forget the favor they have received and think of the source. We are surrounded by parents, teachers, friends, and others who care about us in some small way. Their words of advice, even if spoken frankly and without reserve, are painful to hear, and their true meaning is that they hope we will not stray from the path, but walk correctly and steadily. We should always be grateful and carefully accept the weight of their words with the intention of eventually repaying them. If we take them lightly, overlook them, or take them for granted, then one day, when the person who cared for us suddenly disappears and leaves us, we will realize their deep feelings for the first time and be left with nothing but regret and longing. Then you will be left with nothing but regret and longing.
Practical Advice for Modern Life
The story of Emperor Shenzong sparing Hai Rui shows that painful advice can protect your future. Do not treat those who correct you as enemies; hear the concern behind their words. Revision requests or a partner’s complaints are material for rebuilding.
